How many people wrote the Bible?

Not everyone agrees on the number of people who wrote the Bible. There are about 40, depending on who you believe wrote every specific book. We know, for instance, that Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, but there is good evidence that he also wrote the book of Job. However, some people don’t agree. Similarly, I believe the book of Hebrews was written by the apostle Paul, because of many of the ways that Paul writes, are found in Hebrews, but once again, some people don’t agree that it was Paul. So, let’s just say, there were about 40 writers, spread out over a period of about 1500 years. Amazing really, when you think that the Bible has a single theme, yet so many writers over such a long time!
