Could you pray for me, I’m going through some of the hardest time of my life and don’t know if I can handle it without God help. Thank you brother. I remember hearing that God doesn’t throw stuff at our lives that we can’t handle. And I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle this on my own…
Answer:
There are many things in life that we are unable to handle on our own, that is why God invites us to give Him the difficult stuff. He specializes in carrying our heavy loads, keeping us from falling into temptation, and forgiving us when we do crash and burn.
Matthew 11 28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Philippians 4 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 3 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own under-standing; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
