Question:
Answer:
When you’re in heaven with God, perfect in every way, in a perfect place, you will know that Christians actually are the winners. It is only here in this sinful world, where success is measured in dollars, that we seem to be last, but that is just the devil’s illusion. What we are doing here is getting to know God, and preparing to live with Him forever. God says that if you seek Him and His kingdom first, all the other things that are important here, will be added, as you need them.
Colossians 2 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Matthew 6 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
John 14 1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Matthew 28:20 “… I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Jesus said that He came to earth to give us life, eternal life, and that He wants us to have an abundant life here, full of happiness and contentment, preparing for the perfect life that waits for us. John 10:10 “The thief (the devil) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Matthew 11 28 “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
