Question:
Answer:
I did not know about websites where you could sell your soul to the devil, but I have heard of people giving themselves to the devil to be a rock star, or a millionaire, so I believe that these things are possible. The problem is that no-one twisted your arm to go to this website; you used your own free choice to do what you have done. People do dumb things because they don’t really believe that the devil exists, but he is very real. Just look around at the horrible things happening in the world around you, and you have to come to the conclusion that the devil truly exists. If you have really sold yourself to the devil, then he will not let you go, and there is only one way that you will ever be free from him.
God is the only one stronger than the devil, and so you have to give yourself totally to Him, and ask Him to release you from the devil’s grasp. This is one thing you cannot fight on your own, because you can never win. But if you totally surrender your life to God – and this has to be a for-real thing, not just a make-believe thing – then He can release you from the devil’s clutches. The Bible gives the example of the man filled with many evil spirits, who had been that way for a long time. Obviously he had also at some time admitted the devil into his life. But when he realised that Jesus could help him, he ran and fell down before Him. The evil spirits stopped him from asking for help, but Jesus saw his need and cast all the demons out of him.
Mark 5: 2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, 4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. 7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”
8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” 9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” 10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.
11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. 12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” 13 And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. 15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
Jesus already overcame the devil by dying on the cross, so we do not have to fight the devil ourselves, just ask God to do the fighting.
James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
The verse above tells us that the way to resist the devil is to submit to God. This means that you have to give your whole life over to God, and ask Him to take care of the devil. Then you have to tell the devil out loud that you have shifted your allegiance to God, and that your soul now belongs to God. Then let God fight the battle for you. But please never do such an insane thing as selling your soul to the devil, unless you mean it! This is not a joke, it is deadly serious, it affects your eternal life!
Romans 5: 6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
God bless as you surrender completely to Him and allow Him to throw the devil out of your life! I will pray for you!
