Question:

Do you know how the Bible knows both sides to stories? Like how Moses mom releases him in the river and the pharaohs daughter found him. Just curious on how they learn both sides of every stories and even the thoughts.

Answer:

The Bible is God’s Word, given to human authors to write down in their own words. But the entire book is inspired by the Holy Spirit, not human thoughts or ideas. And because God knows everything, the picture is given from all sides, because it comes from God.

2 Peter 1     20 … no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16   All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness …

1 Peter 1:25  the word of the Lord endures forever.

Matthew 24:35   “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

1 John 3:20   For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Matthew 19:26   But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Moses, who lived about two and a half thousand years after creation, wrote the first five books of the Bible, and probably the book of Job as well. Only God could have given him all the information about creation, the fall, the flood, and all the rest of the history. There was no human who had so much historic knowledge in their heads. The Bible is God’s love letter to us, and it would be good if we would read and study it, to really get to know the God of the Bible. God bless as you study it!
