Question:

I’ve sinned the other day and I had a dream the devil was pulling me into hell and I saw Jesus I asked for help but my hand went straight through him. Does this mean I’ve lost connection with God?

Answer:

Why do you think that God would give you a horrible dream like that? It sounds to me more like a dream from the devil. And why would a dream worry you so much, if you are truly surrendered to Christ, in a close personal relationship with Him, and ready for His coming? Don’t let the devil get you all upset. He gives me horrible dreams all the time, but God is bigger than the devil, and bigger than my dreams, so I choose to believe Him and stick to Him whatever happens.

I suggest that you make sure of your relationship with God, which means that you spend quality time with Him every morning, opening your heart to Him in prayer, and letting Him speak to you, through reading His Word, the Bible. Get to know Him well, and there will be no problem when the Second Coming happens. Trust in God, He wants you to be with Him forever, and He’s trying His best to save you. He also says that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

1 John 4:8   He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Philippians 2     12 … work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

John 17:3   And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

2 Peter 3:9   The Lord is … not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Philippians 4     Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:5   … For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

God bless as you cling to Him, get to know Him very well, and trust that He wants to save you!
