Is it wrong that i take God for granted?

To me it says that you are not totally serious about God. If you have given your whole life totally to God, 100% surrendered, then you would be asking Him how you should live your life, and loving Him with all your heart. You would also know the huge sacrifice that Jesus went through for you, and the pain and agony He suffered on your behalf, on the cross, and therefore you would be saying, not my will, but Your will be done. You would start to hate sin, because you know what it cost Jesus, and when you fell into sin (as we all do!), it would not be a casual asking for forgiveness, but coming to Him with tears of regret. I recommend that you spend more time with God, praying and studying His Word, to grow your close personal relationship with Him. Ask Him to help you not to take Him for granted, and to draw you closer and closer to Him. God knows your heart, so open it up to Him completely, He will never love you less if you sin, so tell Him everything.

Jeremiah 31:3    The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

Hebrews 13:5   …. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Romans 8:1   There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (in relationship with Christ), who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Make sure that your relationship with Jesus is what it should be, and you will never take God for granted. God bless!
