Question:

I’ve been experiencing some activity with demons in my house. When I sleep it’s scary sometimes cause at night they mess with me like paralyze and once cut my left hand.

Answer:

Yes, I have twice woken up with something sitting on my chest, strangling me, and making me unable to move or talk. And both times I cried out to Jesus in my mind, and immediately the demon was gone. God is well able to save us from demonic attack.

The devil is much stronger and cleverer than we are, and we cannot fight him by ourselves. Your only hope is God, so I would pray earnestly to Him for help. Open up your heart to God, ask Him to be your fortress and to fight the demons for you. God wants to be your Father, your Friend, and He wants you to talk to Him as you would to any earthly friend. God loves you more than you can imagine, and wants to help you, but somehow you have gotten into this mess with demonic harassment. And only He can get you out, so ask Him with all your heart!

Hebrews 4:16   Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 4:8   He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

John 17:23 (NLT)   I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them (you and me) as much as you love me.”

The devil wants to hurt God, which is why he wants to harass you and get you to give up on God. But the good thing is that God wants you alive, believing the truth about Him, and not to be involved in devilish things. Look at the two passages above. It says that God is love, and that He loves you as much as He loves Jesus. Imagine that! He wants you to have a proper close, personal relationship with Him, and I suggest that you start right now. Go on your knees and stay there, praying to Him for forgiveness of your sins, and for help to cast the demons out of your home and out of your life. Keep praying until the peace of God comes over you. Only with Him are you safe from the devil. God never forces anyone, and you yourself, have to ask Him to intervene. I will be praying for you, and I will ask others to pray as well, but you have to stay close to God, pray and pray and pray some more, that God will cast the demons out, and bring you closer to Him every day.

1 Peter 5:8   Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Revelation 12:12      So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus

Christ.

John 10:10    The thief (the devil) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

From the passages above you can see that the devil wants to destroy you, but God is ready and able to fight the demons for you. Look at the promises in the passages below.

1 John 3:8   For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy

the works of the devil.

James 4:7   Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Psalm 91:2   I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

Psalm 56     Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

Psalm 46     God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.

Proverbs 3     Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Don’t give up on God. He will help you if you ask Him, and surrender your life completely to Him. We are praying for you as well, so don’t lose hope, keep on praying! God bless!
