I had a dream with a black cat.

I personally am not a cat person, but I have no special problem with black ones. A cat is a cat, and it didn’t choose its colour, just like humans. The devil can possess a human, and I suppose a cat as well, but that doesn’t mean that we have a problem with all humans, just because some of them are devil possessed.

If you want an interpretation of your dreams, you’ve come to the wrong place. Only God can interpret dreams, as Joseph told Pharoah (see below) and Daniel told King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2:28. If you are concerned about your dream, ask God to help you, He’s the only one who can.

Genesis 41     ¹⁵ And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.” ¹⁶ So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

I always wonder what the reason is for a dream. Was it God, that was preparing you for some future event, or was it the devil that was just messing with you. Only God can tell you.
