Question:

Please I need prayers…
My left eye is blind while doctors told me there is a growth in my brain.

Answer:

I have been praying for you, and will keep on praying. When something like this happens, we want answers, and sometimes there are none. We want God to sort it all out, but our prayers often seem to hit the ceiling and not reach the target. Our God is the ruler of the Universe, the Creator of all we see and know, the only One who is immortal. He is almighty, all-knowing, ever present, and He is love. Therefore, He is well able to heal any illness known to man, mental or physical, as Jesus demonstrated when He was on earth.

1 John 4:8    He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Humanity without God is evil, unclean, deceitful, messed up and totally unable to change ourselves. If we try, it will be failure after failure, leading to depression. We cannot save ourselves, it is as simple as that. And if we don’t hand the problem over to God COMPLETE-LY, we will have the most up-and-down Christian experience imaginable. We have to submit to God, surrender to Him, give up everything to Him. The only thing we can do, is to start a close personal relationship with Him. Then He can work. If at any time we interfere in His work of transformation, we hurt the relationship, leading to more failure, sin and depression. Let God handle it, He is more than able!

James 4:7   Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

John 17:3    “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

1 Peter 5     Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

God wants to have a personal, close, intimate relationship with each one of us. That means that He wants us to get to know Him as a close personal Friend and Father, to open up our hearts to Him completely in prayer, and to listen to Him through His love letter to us, the Bible. As we all should be aware, relationship is all about time and about communication. There is no shortcut, if you want to have this wonderful relationship with God, He has to be number one in your life, you have to make time to communicate with Him, and allow Him to communicate with you. Pray, pray, pray! The Bible says that eternal life is to know God, in the sense of a close personal relationship. The most awful words that anyone could hear, would be Jesus saying, “I don’t know you. Depart from me”.

2 Corinthians 5:17   Therefore, if anyone is in Christ (in relationship with Christ), he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Luke 22:42   “… not My will, but Yours, be done.”

Matthew 7     21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me …”

Medical people will tell you that some brain tumours are inoperable, that medical science can do nothing, and neither can God. But God designed us, created us, and it is only the sin that we live in and is part of us, that has brought about all these terrible diseases that plague us. The devil will want you to believe that God is unable to do anything for you, but as the Creator of the universe, that is simply not true. God can do anything that He wants to, and is according to His will. The only thing that we don’t know, is whether healing you is according to His will or not. And you will not know that, until you have talked to God about it.

Matthew 11     28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Your problem is not that God is not able to heal you, but what His will is for your life. Sometimes we find ourselves much closer to God in the hardest situations, so keep clinging to Him. Hand your situation to Him and watch Him work in your life! God bless!
